Getting to North Gate
North Gate is a very well-connected part of Newark, with good road links as well as frequent train services to London and beyond from Newark North Gate Station. The journey to London takes around one hour 30 minutes, much quicker than the drive which takes two hours 35 minutes depending on traffic.
North Gate is a 20 minute walk or five minute drive from the centre of Newark, so it’s easy to go shopping or to eat out at one of the town’s restaurants. The suburb is a 35 minute drive from Nottingham or 30 minutes by train, while the journey from Lincoln takes 25 minutes by train or car. North Gate is one hour’s drive from Sheffield.
When you want to go on holiday, East Midlands Airport is only a 55 minute drive away, while Doncaster Sheffield Airport is also only a short drive away.
