The M40 passes close to town, meaning Banbury is very well connected to the national motorway network. Birmingham is around 50 minutes north along this road, while London is a little further away in the opposite direction. Banbury’s train station is parallel to the A4260, with services to Birmingham taking 45 minutes. Trains to London only take an hour, making Banbury feasible if you work in the capital.
